DPM Scan Pro erfasst direkt markierte und klassische Codes und übergibt die gelesene Identität an vorliegende Systeme weiter. Die Anwendung ist auf Direktmarkierungen ausgelegt (Nadelprägung, Lasermarkierung oder additiv erzeugt, auf Metall wie auf Kunststoff) also auf Kennzeichnungen, die kein gedrucktes Kontrastmuster sind, sondern eine Oberflächenstruktur. Damit endet die Aufgabe nicht beim Dekodieren: Das Scanergebnis wird zum Prozessereignis in Ihrer bestehenden Systemlandschaft.

Erfassungsarten
Beim Einzelscan wird ein Objekt bewusst bestätigt und unmittelbar verarbeitet. Bulk Scanning erkennt mehrere Codes innerhalb einer Aufnahme, etwa auf einem Tray, in einem Behälter oder bei der Inventur. Batch Scanning erfasst mehrere Codes nacheinander, ohne jeden Vorgang neu starten zu müssen. Beim Triggered Scanning wird ein erkanntes Ergebnis erst bei bewusster Betätigung übernommen.
Datenübergabe
Ein Scanergebnis kann an einen Webprozess übergeben oder zur Navigation in einer Weboberfläche genutzt werden. Über einen standardisierten Nachrichtenkanal lassen sich Ergebnisse an Middleware, MES oder ERP-Prozesse weiterreichen. Optional überträgt die Desktop Bridge einen gelesenen Wert per Bluetooth an einen Computer – dorthin, wo sonst von Hand in ein Feld getippt würde.
Wann der Einsatz nicht sinnvoll ist
Typisch sind schwer lesbare Direktmarkierungen auf Metall oder Kunststoff, wechselnde Erfassungspunkte von Wareneingang bis Servicefall, an denen sich ein fest installierter Leser nicht rechnet, sowie Mengenvorgänge wie Kommissionierung, Vollständigkeitsprüfung oder Inventur. Ebenso relevant sind Vorgänge, bei denen der Nachweis am Objekt zählt: Ein gelesener Code belegt, dass jemand vor Ort war.
DPM Scan Pro captures directly marked and conventional codes and passes the identified product identity on to existing systems. The application is designed specifically for direct part markings, including dot peen, laser marking, and additively manufactured markings on both metal and plastic. These markings are not printed contrast patterns but structures formed directly on the surface of the part. The process therefore does not end with decoding: the scan result becomes a process event within the existing system landscape.

Scanning Modes
With single scanning, one object is deliberately confirmed and processed immediately. Bulk scanning detects multiple codes within a single capture, for example on a tray, in a container, or during inventory checks. Batch scanning captures several codes consecutively without having to restart the scanning process each time. With triggered scanning, a detected result is only accepted after deliberate confirmation by the user.
Data Transfer
A scan result can be passed to a web-based process or used to navigate within a web interface. Results can also be forwarded to middleware, MES, or ERP processes via a standardized messaging channel. Optionally, the Desktop Bridge transfers a scanned value via Bluetooth to a computer, directly into the location where it would otherwise have to be entered manually.
When DPM Scan Pro Is Useful
Typical use cases include difficult-to-read direct markings on metal or plastic, changing capture points from goods receipt through production to service where a permanently installed reader would not be economical, as well as high-volume processes such as picking, completeness checks, or inventory. It is also relevant where evidence at the physical object itself matters: a successfully captured code can document that someone was physically present at the item.
