Hygienebox HB3 – weltweite Neuheit am Markt
Mit der jüngsten Entwicklung bietet der Kunststoffspezialist eine Weltneuheit: Die HB3 ist die erste und einzige komplett geschlossene Palettenbox auf dem Markt mit verschweißten Kufen. Die neue HB3 im Industriemaß (Außenmaße: 1200 Millimetern Länge, 1000 Millimetern Breite und 790 Millimetern Höhe) setzt sich aus zwei einstückig gespritzten Elementen zusammen: dem Boxenkörper als Oberteil und der Palette mit drei verschweißten Kufen als Unterteil. Eine weitere Besonderheit: Eine patentierte Schweißnahtgeometrie zur Verbindung beider Kunststoffelemente gewährleistet höchste Stoß- und Bruchfestigkeit; die Schweißnaht ist konturgefräst und daher nahezu unsichtbar.
Die HB3 mit rund 42 Kilogramm Eigengewicht (ohne Versteifungsprofile) fasst ein Volumen von 580 Litern und verträgt über 5000 Kilogramm Stapellast. Aufgrund der Verschweißung des Ober- und Unterteils verfügt die Box über eine hohe Steifigkeit. Mit drei zusätzlichen Versteifungsprofilen aus Metall lässt sich die Biegesteifheit optional weiter erhöhen. Die exakte Nutzlast der Neuentwicklung wird derzeit ermittelt. FuE-Experten von Craemer bezeichnen sie als „Elefanten unter den Palettenboxen“: Im Verhältnis zu ihrer Größe sei sie die stärkste am Markt.

With its latest development, the plastics specialist offers a world first: the HB3 is the first and only completely closed pallet box on the market with welded skids. The new HB3 in industrial size (external dimensions: 1200 millimeters length, 1000 millimeters width and 790 millimeters height) is composed of two one-piece injection-molded elements: the box body as the upper part and the pallet with three welded skids as the lower part. Another special feature: a patented weld seam geometry for joining the two plastic elements ensures maximum impact and break resistance; the weld seam is contour-milled and therefore virtually invisible.
With a tare weight of around 42 kilograms (without stiffening profiles), the HB3 holds a volume of 580 liters and can withstand a stacking load of over 5000 kilograms. Due to the welding of the upper and lower part, the box has a high rigidity. With three additional metal stiffening profiles, the bending stiffness can be further increased as an option. The exact payload of the new development is currently being determined. R&D experts at Craemer call it the "elephant among pallet boxes." In relation to its size, they say, it is the strongest on the market.
